Who we are
Adderley is operated by Toma Group Ltd, company number 17129116, registered at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
These terms apply to theadderley.com, Adderley rooms and the Adderley iOS app, each operated by Toma Group Ltd.
Browsing does not create an event contract. A contract is formed only when you complete the stated booking step and we confirm your place. Room-specific information shown before booking also forms part of that contract.
Introductions
You must be 21 or over to attend an Adderley room.
An introduction is a request to be considered. It is not membership, a booking or a promise of an invitation. We decide which invitations to issue, subject to applicable law.
Information you submit must be accurate and yours to provide. Invitations are personal and may not be sold or transferred without our written agreement.
Bookings and payments
Before booking, we will show the date, location information then available, price, what is included and any specific cancellation terms. You can correct errors before confirming.
A paid place is confirmed when payment is accepted and we send confirmation. A complimentary place is confirmed when we send confirmation after any required acceptance step.
Payments are handled by the provider shown at checkout. We do not store full card details. If we discover an obvious pricing error, you may accept the corrected price or receive a full refund.
Cancellations and changes
Your room-specific cancellation terms will be shown before booking. If none are shown, we will retain no more than our reasonable net loss caused by your cancellation.
The general 14-day cooling-off right does not normally apply to leisure services supplied on a specific date.
We may make reasonable minor changes. If we cancel, reschedule or make a material change, you may accept the alternative or receive a refund of the amount paid to us for the affected place.
We may also cancel or change a room where circumstances outside our reasonable control make it unsafe, unlawful or impracticable. The refund right above still applies.
We are not responsible for separate travel or accommodation costs unless the law requires otherwise.
Attendance and safety
Treat guests, staff, suppliers and neighbours with respect. We may refuse entry, refuse alcohol service or require someone to leave for serious misconduct, harassment, unlawful discrimination, fraud, excessive intoxication, safety reasons or a material breach of these terms.
If we cannot admit you for a reason not caused by you, we will refund the amount paid to us for the place. If the reason is your serious breach, any refund depends on our reasonable loss and your legal rights.
Tell us about allergies, dietary requirements or access needs by the stated deadline. We will pass relevant information to the venue or supplier and make reasonable arrangements, but shared kitchens may handle allergens. Nothing here limits any legal duty owed to you.
Alcohol is subject to licensing law, age checks and venue rules. Drink responsibly and do not drink and drive.
Website, app and content
We may update, suspend or withdraw the website or app where reasonably necessary. Do not misuse them, gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape personal information or use them unlawfully.
Adderley materials belong to Toma Group Ltd or their licensors. You may use them personally, but not reproduce or exploit them commercially without permission.
You remain responsible for content you submit and give us a limited permission to use it only as needed to provide the relevant service.
Some rooms are photographed or filmed. We will tell you where this is planned and provide a reasonable way to raise concerns or opt out. Our Privacy Notice explains how imagery is used.
Our responsibility
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or negligence, but not unforeseeable loss or business loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You are responsible for personal belongings and safe travel, except where loss is caused by our negligence or another liability that cannot be excluded.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You keep any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live or where a room takes place. Claims may be brought in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, in your local courts.
Contact hello@theadderley.com with any question or complaint.
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.
